Advantages and disadvantages of rubber accelerators D and CZ
2024-01-03

Accelerator CZ has strong anti-scorch property and shorter vulcanization time. It is mainly used in the production of tires, hoses, rubber shoes, tapes, cables and so on. Accelerator DM is a universal vulcanization accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and recycled rubber, and is mainly used for the production of tires, inner tubes, adhesive tapes, rubber shoes and general industrial products.

Accelerators are classified into five categories according to the speed of vulcanization. The curing rate of accelerators is compared internationally by using the effect of accelerator M on natural rubber. Slow class: aldolamines, thioureas; medium speed class: muscle; quasi-super-speed class: phosgene azole, hypoxanthamides; super-speed class: thiuram; ultra-super-speed class: dithiocarbamates, xanthates. When selecting an accelerator from both process performance and product performance, it is usually not possible to obtain ideal results with only one accelerator. In order to further increase the speed of vulcanization and achieve higher use value, in the design of sulfur system, 2-3 kinds of accelerators are often used in the rubber formulation to get the effect of mutual complementary or mutual activation to adapt to the processing technology and improve the product quality.
