Features and Applications:

This product is a super accelerator for natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers. It is a representative variety of zinc dithiocarbamate salts and a general accelerator for latex.

This product is non-polluting, non-discoloring, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic. Alkaline accelerator can activate it and has good dispersibility, which can improve the tensile strength and elasticity of vulcanizate.

It has good dispersion in rubber and can improve the tensile strength and elasticity of vulcanized rubber. Antioxidants should be added to NR and IR to improve heat resistance.

This product can also be used as an anti-aging agent for adhesive systems.

Add a small amount of accelerator TMTD, DM, anti-scorch agent or anti-aging agent MB to the rubber compound containing accelerator EZ, which can improve the storage performance of the rubber compound and delay the start of vulcanization. The accelerator EZ needs to be activated with zinc oxide, but adding a small amount of fatty acid can improve the mechanical properties of the vulcanizate.

It should be noted that the reaction of ZDEC with diethylamine will produce a decomposition product, N-nitrosodiethylamine, which contains nitrosated substances (nitrogen oxides).

This product is a good active agent for thiazole and sulfenamide accelerators. It has a strong activation effect on butyl rubber containing accelerators M, TMTD or M and TMTD, which can greatly shorten the curing time. It can also be used for EPDM rubber, but the activation effect is not as strong as that of butyl rubber. This product is also used as a water-insoluble accelerator for latex, and has little effect on the stability of latex. When used as the second accelerator of the thiazole accelerator in the latex, the obtained product has good aging performance.

This product is suitable for white and bright color products, transparent products. Mainly used in the manufacture of medical products, adhesive tapes and self-vulcanizing products.

When used in the manufacture of articles that come into contact with food, refer to the regulations of categories 1-4 in FDA21 CFR 177.2600, 175.105 and BgVV XXI.

Applications

Latex products, butyl inner tubes, rubber rollers, wires and cables, sealing strips, oil seals, etc.

Product dosage

When ZDEC is used as the main accelerator in NR latex, 1 part of ZDEC and 2.5 parts of sulfur are a good starting point.

In the application of NR or SBR as the main foam, a good starting point is 1.5 parts of ZDEC, 1 part of ZMBT and 2.5 parts of sulfur and sulfur.

In NR and SBR, ZDEC can often be used together with thiazole and sulfenamide accelerators, and the dosage is between 0.1-0.4 parts.

In the application of EPDM rubber, ZDEC is usually used together with other dithiocarbamate accelerators in order to control the blooming to the minimum level, and the amount depends on the specific application.
