Zinc diethyl dithiocarbamate(ZDEC,ZDC,EZ) is used as super accelerator for natural and synthetic rubber, especially for butyl rubber, EPDM rubber and latex. Non-toxic, tasteless, suitable for white or bright-colored, transparent products. Application in rubber products in contact with food. Also used as a modifier for hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives and hot melt adhesives. Can be replaced by dibenzyl dithiocarbamate zinc (DBZ) because of the harmful nitrosamines produced.

Applications: Promoter ZDC IS a super promoter of natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It is a representative variety of zinc dithiocarbamate salts and also a general promoter for latex.

Properity: White powder(granular). Density 1.41, soluble in 1% sodium hydroxide, carbon disulfide, benzene, chloroform, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in gasoline.
