Recently, the Institute of Low Carbon Comprehensive Utilization of Carbon 5 of the National Rubber and Tire Engineering and Technology Research Center (NRTRC) was formally inaugurated in the Pilot Base of New Chemical Materials of Liao Bin Economic and Technological Development Zone, Panjin City, Liaoning Province.
Li Zhaofeng, deputy director of CNRT, and Yang Kai, vice chairman of Panjin CPPCC and secretary of CPC Working Committee of Liao Bin Economic and Technological Development Zone, attended the inauguration ceremony and unveiled the plaque on the spot.
National Rubber Center by the soft control shares, Qingdao University of Science and Technology and Sailun Group jointly constructed, is China's rubber and tire industry open science and technology R & D and innovation management platform, is approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, "Innovation Model Pilot" engineering and technology research centers.
The project makes use of the advanced acetonitrile method carbon five separation technology and liquid phase mixing technology of China Rubber Center to produce green new materials, which provide green tires with new green rubber materials with lower rolling resistance, shorter braking distance and better wear resistance.
The project covers an area of 400 acres, with a planned investment of RMB 878 million for the first phase, mainly constructing 150,000 tons/year of carbon penta separating device, 40,000 tons/year of EVEC-IR green new material device, as well as production supporting facilities.
This project is planned to be completed and put into production by the end of the year, and the pile foundation construction has been completed not long ago, and the main body of the plant and the construction of ancillary facilities are underway, and part of the building has been topped off, pending the arrival of all the equipment to be installed.
