What Is The Difference Between Accelerator M And Accelerator DM?

1、What is the role of accelerator?
The role of accelerator is mainly through the role of vulcanizing agent to achieve.
①Shorten the vulcanization time and improve the production efficiency.
②Lower vulcanization temperature, reduce energy consumption.
③Reduce the amount of vulcanizing agent.
④Improve and improve the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber and chemical stability, improve product quality.
 
2、What is the difference between accelerator M and accelerator DM?
Both are thiazole accelerators, acid quasi-quick class, DM by the polymerization of two M molecules. Promoter M (MBT) is a light yellow powder, slightly odorous, bitter taste; Promoter DM (MBTS) is a light yellow powder, lighter tone than M, slightly bitter taste. Compared with M, DM vulcanization temperature is higher, vulcanization speed is slower, flatness is better, not easy to scorch, there are certain after-effects, high fixed extension stress, safer operation. On the contrary, M vulcanization reaction speed is faster, i.e. short scorching time, poor flatness of vulcanization. Promoter DM (MBTS) and promoter M to a certain extent can be used in place of each other. In natural rubber, both have plasticizing effect, can be used as natural rubber plasticizer. At a lower temperature, M plasticizing effect is higher than DM, but as the temperature rises, DM plasticizing effect is higher than M. Promoter M rubber tensile strength, tensile stress, tear resistance, elasticity is slightly lower than DM rubber, and heat aging resistance is better than DM.
