N-Cyclohexy(thio)phthalimide(PVI,CTP) is white or light yellow crystal, easily soluble in benzene, ether, acetone and ethyl acetate, mainly used in natural rubber, synthetic rubber, especially when used with hyposulfonamide accelerator, constitute a good vulcanization system. It can effectively prevent the rubber from scorching in the process and improve the production efficiency. It also has a recovery effect on rubber that has been subjected to high heat or slightly scorched.
