Recently, the Michelin tire reprocessing project (significant changes) was announced by the environmental protection department. The project is located in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total investment of approximately 110 million yuan, including an environmental protection investment of 5.015 million yuan. This project is a technical renovation project, with a planned construction period of 24 months.
The original project processed 2.2 million finished car tires, of which 900000 were processed into self sealing tires and 1.3 million were processed into silent tires. The existing project will construct 5 × 1 million/year silent tire production line and 1 × 700000 pieces/year self sealing tire production line. After the adjustment, the annual production capacity of the project will increase by 3.5 million units, totaling 5.7 million units. The production capacity of silent tires increased by 285%, while the production capacity of self sealing tires decreased by 22%.
