As the world enters a new round of rubber cutting peak season, global natural rubber production is expected to increase by 0.3% year-on-year to 1.006 million tons in May, a month on month increase of 12.3%.
The consumption of natural rubber is expected to increase by 3.5% year-on-year to 1.272 million tons, a decrease of 1% month on month.
Meanwhile, ANRPC has also adjusted its overall forecast for this year.
It is expected that global natural rubber production will increase by 2.5% year-on-year to 14.888 million tons in 2023.
Among them, Thailand increased by 2.5%, Indonesia increased by 1.8%, China decreased by 0.1%, India increased by 3.8%, Vietnam increased by 0.1%, Malaysia increased by 11.4%, and other countries increased by 2.8%.
In 2023, global natural rubber consumption is expected to increase by 0.3% year-on-year to 15.118 million tons.
Among them, China grew by 4.3%, India by 1.9%, Thailand by 26%, Malaysia by 5.8%, Vietnam by 5.8%, and other countries by 0.6%.
