1. Hankook at Electify Expo USA
Hankook Tire America has announced that it will participate in Electify Expo, North America's largest electric vehicle trade show, and will showcase its full line of electric vehicle tyres in select cities and sponsor demo areas at the expo.

2. American Tyre Manufacturers Association announces five alternatives to 6PPD
On 29 March, the US Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) released the first phase of its analysis of alternatives to 6PPD in tyres.

The five alternatives are:N-(1,4-dimethylpentyl)-N′-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine (7PPD), N-isopropyl-N′-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine (IPPD), N,N'-bis(1,4-dimethylpentyl)-p-phenylenediamine (77PD), N,N'-dicyclohexyl-p-phenylenediamine (CCPD), and dedicated graphene.

3. Purabayashi Narayama Europe's Entry into Norway
Recently, Purabayashi Narayama Europe launched its Fortune brand in the Norwegian market in co-operation with Fagdekk, represented by Point S. The launch of the co-operation took place at a trade fair in Oslo.

4 Goodyear opens new centre in Luxembourg

5. Purabayashi Narayama Becomes Official Partner of the National Football League
PuraPharm Narayama North America has announced that it has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the United States Soccer League (USL), becoming the league's first official tyre partner.

6. Sumitomo Rubber Introduces Loose Wheel Nut Detection Technology
On 26 March, Japan's Sumitomo Rubber Company s announced the introduction of a new technology, Sensing Core.

7. Continental appoints new general manager for Romanian plant
Continental Tyres has appointed Serban Nicolescu as the new general manager of its plant in Timioara, effective 1 April.

8 European tyre associations sign Antwerp declaration
On 3 April, the European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers Association (ETRMA) announced that it has become a signatory to the Antwerp declaration.

1. German company launches three-chamber air spring
German company Weinheim-Vibratic has announced the launch of an in-built advanced three-chamber air spring for the Audi e-tron GT electric car.

2. British Chemical Association Reports Significantly Improved Market Outlook
Recently, the UK Chemical Business Association (CBA) found in its latest quarterly survey that the market outlook for its members has significantly improved.

3. Rion announces new investment
On 27 March, Japan's Rion Corporation announced that it had invested in Coreschell Technologies AG.

5. German research institute develops bio-based monomers for synthetic rubber
On 4 April, Fraunhofer's Institute for Applied Polymer Research (IAPR) announced the launch of a three-year project to develop "alternative bio-based raw materials" for the production of synthetic rubber.

6. France's Hutchinson develops new material for EV safety
On 29 March, Hutchinson announced that it has developed an ethylene propylene diene diene (EPDM) sealing material to improve the fire safety of electric vehicle (EV) battery packs.
