China Rubber Magazine learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) that China will pilot the implementation of the "Enterprise Green Code" to quantitatively grade and evaluate the greening level of green factories and assign codes.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will implement dynamic management of green factories at the national level, and in 2023, nine green factories and three green supply chain management enterprises in the first seven green manufacturing lists will be moved out of the green manufacturing list.

At the same time, for the approved national-level green factories, the pilot implementation of the "enterprise green code", the green factory green level of quantitative grading evaluation and assignment of the code, a visual reflection of the position of enterprises in all green factories as well as the position of the industry to which they belong.

China Rubber magazine saw from the schematic diagram of "Enterprise Green Code" that green factories at the national level are divided into A+, A and B levels, with ratios of 5%, 35% and 60% respectively.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) pointed out that after applying for the "Enterprise Green Code", enterprises can show it to their buyers, financial institutions, relevant government departments, etc., to prove the level of their own green development.

On March 23, 2023 and January 5, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the 2022 and 2023 green manufacturing lists on its website. A total of 35 green factories and 7 green supply chain management enterprises were included in the rubber tire industry.
