Recently, the General Administration of Customs released the tire export data for January-February 2022.

China Rubber Magazine learned from this that in February, affected by the Spring Festival holiday, China's tire exports declined year-on-year. Despite this, the cumulative export volume from January to February maintained a growth momentum.

What is of concern is that in the first two months, China's tire export prices increased significantly year-on-year.

Data show that in February this year, China's total export of rubber tires was 450,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10%; the export value was 7.525 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1%.

Among them, the export volume of new pneumatic rubber tires was 440,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.2%; the export value was 7.212 billion yuan, the same as the same period last year.

Calculated by the number of pieces, the export volume of new pneumatic rubber tires in February was 35.05 million pieces, a year-on-year decrease of 15.6%.

From January to February, the cumulative export volume of China's rubber tires was 1.14 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%; the export value was 18.535 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%.

Among them, the cumulative export of new pneumatic rubber tires was 1.09 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2%; the export value was 17.67 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.4%.

Calculated by the number of pieces, a total of 90.37 million new pneumatic rubber tires were exported from January to February, a slight decrease of 0.6% year-on-year.
