It provides a broad market space for the development of rubber additives. From 2001 to 2007, the average annual growth rate of rubber accelerators reached 28%. Among them, the rubber accelerator CBS has an average annual growth rate of 36%.
The chemical name of the rubber accelerator CBS is N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfenamide. It is a green additive and one of the commonly used after-effect accelerators. It has both excellent scorch resistance and short curing time. Advantages, when used in combination with other accelerators, it can also improve the elongation and tensile strength of the vulcanizate. Slight discoloration, no frosting, excellent aging resistance of vulcanizate. Especially suitable for the production of radial tires.
At present, the technology of domestic production of rubber accelerator CBS is based on cyclohexylamine and rubber accelerator M finished product (that is, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole) as raw materials, and sodium hypochlorite is an oxidant to synthesize CBS, and then through washing, dehydration, drying (granulation) , The packaging is finished. The oxidation mother liquor and washing water are distilled to recover cyclohexylamine, and cyclohexylamine is recycled. The disadvantage of this process is that
1. The process takes the finished product M as the raw material, and the production of the finished product M produces a large amount of waste water. In the process of producing rubber accelerator M finished product, it is necessary to pass through the operations such as alkali dissolution, change, neutralization, washing, dehydration, drying, consume a large amount of acid and alkali, and generate a large amount of waste water (40-50 tons/ton M). Wastewater treatment is difficult and expensive, and is not conducive to environmental protection.
2. Long process flow, high energy consumption, low efficiency, low yield and high cost. The yield of rubber accelerator M is about 95%.
3. Large investment in equipment.
