Properties
Light yellow powder. Odorless, slightly bitter. Melting point 300℃(decomposition). Relative density 1.70(25℃). Soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in benzene, dichloromethane, carbon tetrachloride, ethanol, insoluble in water and gasoline. Decompose when meet strong acid or strong alkali solution, non-toxic.

Production principle
Firstly, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole accelerator M reacts with sodium hydroxide to make M sodium salt, then reacts with zinc sulfate to get accelerator MZ by compound decomposition and non-toxic reaction.

Use
Natural rubber, general synthetic rubber and latex accelerator, the vulcanized rubber produced has excellent aging resistance, and can improve the adhesive strength of rubber and metal, and is also an important latex heat-sensitive agent. This product does not pollute and does not change color in the rubber material. It is suitable for the manufacture of latex products, latex sponges, cables, rubber shoes, medical and sanitary products, etc.
Its performance is similar to that of accelerator M, but the promotion effectiveness is slightly weaker. Vulcanization critical temperature is higher (138℃), not easy to produce early vulcanization, vulcanization flatness is wider. Used in neoprene rubber slightly delayed vulcanization effect. Tyuram, dithiocarbamate, guanidine, recycled rubber with alkaline and general alkaline substances have activation effect on it, need to be matched with zinc oxide and stearic acid. The general dosage is 0.5%~1.5%.
