Rubber additives are, in a broad sense, materials added to high molecular weight rubber for the purpose of improving rubber processing properties and giving specific properties to rubber products.
The main accelerators and antioxidants are directly or indirectly derived from aniline.
Benzene → Nitrobenzene → Aniline
Thiazole: MBT, MBTS, ZMBT
Hyposulfonamides: CBS, TBBS, MBS, DCBS
Guanidine：DPG
p-phenylenediamine：IPPD, 6PPD
Other antioxidants：TMQ
Cyclohexylamine：CBS
Dicyclohexylamine：DCBS
Commercial accelerator products include the following categories:
(1) Ultra-fast accelerators: dithiocarbamates and thiuram
(2) Fast accelerators: thiazole and hyposulfenamide (hyposulfenamide is slow kinetically speaking)
(3) slow accelerators: guanidine
(4) Other promoters: aldehyde amines, thiourea, cyclic dithiocarbamate
