When it comes to "antioxidant", many people may have a question mark in their head, what is it? This is a substance that can prevent (strictly speaking, delay) the aging of rubber, and is one of the most important rubber additives! Because the nature of rubber aging is the oxidative deterioration of rubber or ozone oxidation deterioration, so the "antioxidant" is also known as antioxidant, and anti-ozone agent.
1. Antioxidant A (anti-A)
Physical and chemical properties: yellow-brown to purple crystalline bulk substances, pure colorless lumpy crystals, toxic. Relative density 1.16-1.17, melting point 62℃, soluble in acetone, benzene, ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, soluble in gasoline, insoluble in water. Exposed to sunlight and air gradient color, flammable.
Uses: It is a universal antioxidant for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and recycled rubber, with good protection against thermal oxygen, flexing, weathering and fatigue aging. It has good protection against thermal oxygen, flexing, weathering, fatigue aging, etc. It has inhibition effect on harmful metals (such as copper). This product can be used with other antioxidants such as anti-AP, DNR, especially anti-4010NA and 4010. This product is easy to disperse in the rubber material, the solubility is up to 5%, larger than the anti-aging ding, the dosage of 3-4 parts when not spraying frost.
2. Antioxidant D (D)
Light gray to light brown powder, pure white powder. relative density 1.18. melting point 1.5. Relative density 1.18, melting point; 108 ℃. Soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, carbon disulfide, chloroform, soluble in ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in gasoline and water, exposed to air and sunlight gradually become gray-black, but the effectiveness is not reduced. Flammable.
Uses: natural rubber, synthetic rubber and synthetic latex general-purpose antioxidant, thermal oxygen, flex cracking has a good protective effect, and its protective effect is stronger than the anti-ageing armor! It also has a certain inhibitory effect on harmful metals, but the effect is not as strong as anti-ageing armor.
3.Antioxidant H
Physical and chemical properties; gray-brown powder, pure silver-white crystal. Relative density; 1.18-1.22, melting point 150-152 degrees, melt in benzene, toluene, chlorinated benzene, ether, acetone carbon disulfide, and chloroform, slightly melted in ethanol and gasoline, insoluble in water. There are degrees!
Use: This product is a general-purpose antioxidant of p-phenylenediamine for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and its latex, with good anti-flexing.
4.Antioxidant RD
Physical and chemical properties; pure amber to off-white powder foam, non-toxic, softening point of 74 degrees above the relative density of 1.05, soluble in benzene, chloroform, carbon dichloride, and acetone, slightly soluble in petroleum jing. Insoluble in water, combustible!
Use: This product is a general-purpose amine antioxidant with particularly good anti-heat and oxygen aging performance in the rubber industry, applicable to natural rubber, and other synthetic rubbers except chloroprene rubber. This product on the flexural fatigue and ozone aging protection effect is not obvious, therefore; especially suitable for thermal and oxygen aging as the main aging characteristics of a class of rubber products.
5.Antioxidant 350
Use: This product is a low-pollution antioxidant amine general-purpose antioxidant, with anti-butyl, anti-A, anti-sp and anti-2246 similar to the anti-heat and oxygen aging properties, as well as 4010 NA and anti-2246 similar to the anti-flexing and cracking properties. It is used in NR, BR, SBR and other rubbers. It can be used to make agricultural tires, light truck tires and other industrial rubber products, and is also suitable for light-colored and bright-colored products.
