On April 1, the Internal Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2022/321/AD18R3. According to Order No. 5 of March 31, 2022, an anti-dumping mid-term review investigation was initiated against truck tires originating in China. Whether the current anti-dumping duties need to be adjusted.
The products involved are applicable to axles of trucks, buses, trolleybuses, dump trucks, trailers and semi-trailers, involving products under the Eurasian Economic Union tax numbers 4011201000 and 4011209000.
Stakeholders should register their response within 25 days of the announcement, submit a hearing application within 45 days, and submit case comments and evidentiary materials within 60 days.
On September 1, 2014, the Eurasian Economic Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation on truck tires originating in China.
On December 18, 2015, according to Resolution No. 154 of November 17, 2015, the Eurasian Economic Commission began to levy a five-year anti-dumping duty on the products involved in China, at a rate of 14.79% to 35.35%.
On July 2, 2021, according to the Announcement No. 84 of the Internal Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission on June 29, 2021, the Eurasian Economic Union maintained the anti-dumping duty on China's truck tires unchanged until June 28, 2026.
