Recently, several major rubber producing countries in Asia have released the latest export statistics.

With the increase in global tire production, rubber exports in these regions have increased significantly.

Which are the main countries?

1.Malaysia

Data show that in the first three quarters of 2021, Malaysia's rubber commodity exports increased by 70.7% year-on-year.

Among them, tire exports reached 1.4 billion ringgit (about 2.1 billion yuan), an increase of 8.1% year-on-year.

The United States remains the main importer of Malaysian tires.

2.Vietnam

According to statistics from Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, in 2021, the country's natural rubber exports will reach 1.97 million tons.

Compared with 2020, the export volume of this part of goods increased by 12.9%, and the export value increased by 39%.

The European Union is one of the largest importers of Vietnamese agricultural products, and China, India and the United States also consume large amounts.

Some research institutions predict that in 2022, Vietnam's natural rubber export value will reach 22.2 billion yuan.

3.India

It is expected that as of March 31, India's natural rubber production in fiscal 2021 will be less than 800,000 tons.

During the same period last year, local natural rubber production was only 715,000 tons.

Affected by rising freight rates, domestic sales of natural rubber in India have increased.

4.Cambodia

In 2021, Cambodia will export 366,300 tons of natural rubber, a year-on-year increase of 8%.

As of now, Cambodia has a total of 40.40 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 77% can be harvested.

The main markets for the country's natural rubber exports are Vietnam, Malaysia, China and Singapore.
