Production method: At present, there are four main methods for the production of insoluble sulfur at home and abroad: complex fusion method, gasification method, oxidation and reduction method, and radiation method. The first two methods are mainly used in the industrial production of insoluble sulfur, but because the production of insoluble sulfur by the complex fusion method can only make the conversion rate of common sulfur up to about 30%, compared with the gasification method can directly obtain products containing more than 60 insoluble sulfur, and in the production of products containing 90 insoluble sulfur, the amount of recycling of unconverted common sulfur is less, and the cost of reprocessing is less. Therefore, it should be more economical to produce insoluble sulfur by gasification method.

Basic principle: The gasification method of preparing insoluble sulfur is to heat raw sulfur above its melting point, gasify it in the gasification chamber and form superheated vapor. The vapor is quickly sprayed into the coolant containing stabilizer and quenched and cooled to produce a mixture of soluble and insoluble sulfur. Drying of raw materials: In the pre-melting of raw materials before it must be dried. Generally need to dry the raw material at 60 ℃ for about 10 h to meet the process requirements.
