NS can be used for reclaimed rubber of natural rubber, butadiene rubber, isoprene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber and natural rubber. The use method and properties are basically similar to the accelerator CZ, but the after-effect in natural rubber is slightly larger.
This product needs to be matched with zinc oxide and stearic acid, and can also be activated by thiuram, dithiocarbamate, aldamines, guanidine accelerators and acidic substances. The accelerator NS has developed rapidly in recent years, from 655t in 1985 to 1990. 1305t of the year. These varieties are all derivatives of Accelerator M. The main problem currently plaguing the vulcanization accelerator industry is the carcinogenicity of nitrosamines. NOBS and other secondary amine structure accelerators can generate nitrosamines that are carcinogenic to animals during vulcanization, while primary amine structure sulfenamides such as NS and CZ can generate nitrosamines during vulcanization. The vulcanization accelerator has no carcinogenicity problem and has received widespread attention.
The production and consumption of NS in the United States is the largest, accounting for 40% of the total amount of thiazole vulcanization chemicals (including vulcanizing agents and vulcanization accelerators). The development of radial tires in my country is rapid, and the matching requirements for accelerator NS are more urgent. However, the domestic production of tert-butylamine has not formed a scale, which affects the industrial production of accelerator NS.
