Recently, Linglong Tire passed the evaluation of the Executive Committee of the Global Sustainable Natural Rubber Platform (GPSNR) and successfully joined GPSNR, becoming the first GPSNR member in the tire industry in mainland China.

GPSNR was established in 2018 by the tire industry sector of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). It is an independent non-profit non-governmental organization.

The platform operator stated that GPSNR is committed to ensuring the sustainable production, supply and stable development of the natural rubber industry. When enterprises and other units join the platform, they will benefit from the synergy in natural rubber procurement or operational activities.

Joining GPSNR this time, Linglong Tire formulated the "Sustainable Natural Rubber Policy" in terms of ecosystem protection, human rights protection, supply chain management, and production efficiency improvement. Contribute to sustainable development, promote the optimization of the industry chain, adhere to the humanistic spirit and low-carbon concept.

Linglong Tire takes the idea of a community with a shared future for the global rubber industry, in addition to maintaining the original natural rubber industry chain in the process of enterprise development, it also actively deploys and explores the field of dandelion rubber with its excellent R&D strength.

Since 2012, Linglong Tire has cooperated with domestic cutting-edge R&D teams and institutions such as the team of Academician Zhang Liqun of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and officially launched the research on Chinese dandelion rubber, which has attracted great attention in the industry at home and abroad.

Linglong Tire said that in the future, it will strictly abide by the purpose of GPSNR, actively participate in various activities of GPSNR, continue to practice the "Sustainable Natural Rubber Policy", promote the cooperation of stakeholders, work together to build a sustainable natural rubber supply chain, and promote the industry through research and development.
