Against the backdrop of high inflation in the global economy, the significant advantage of China's cost-effective tyres, as well as factors such as falling shipping costs and higher energy prices in Europe, combined to drive positive growth in China's tyre exports.

Relevant data shows that China's rubber tyre outer tyre production reached a staggering 987.754 million in 2023, a significant increase of 15.3% over the same period of the previous year. China's tyre share in global tyre sales is unmatched at 56.46%. Semi-steel and all-steel tyres, the leading products in the tyre industry, also achieved remarkable growth. The annual output of all-steel tyres reached 139 million, an increase of 14% year-on-year; the output of semi-steel tyres was as high as 591 million, an increase of 22% year-on-year.

Although China's automobile production, sales and exports are currently the world's first, and China's global production of automobile tyres is also the first, but China's automobile tyres in the global position is relatively low.

In terms of export, Chinese tyres also show strong global competitiveness.In 2023, China exported a total of 616.4 million new pneumatic rubber tyres, up 11.8% year-on-year; the export value reached 150.11265 billion yuan, up 19.5% year-on-year. Among them, Shandong Province, as an important production area of Chinese tyres, exported rubber tyres reached 92.36 billion yuan, up 20.6% year-on-year.
