On March 21, ARLANXEO issued a notice on price adjustment of butyl rubber products, and from March 21, the sales price of butyl rubber products will be increased by US$500 (about 3,200 yuan) per ton.

ARLANXEO said that the reason for the price adjustment was the recent increase in the price of raw materials and the substantial increase in the company's cost.

On March 25, Aixi Development issued a price increase notice for SK Suprene® EPDM products, and from April 1, the price of this product will be increased by 1,500 yuan per ton.

Cabot also announced that starting April 15, it would raise prices for all types of carbon black produced at plants in the U.S., Europe and China by 18%.

Cabot attributed the price adjustment to higher oil/coal and natural gas prices.
