The rubber adhesive RE produces an adhesive effect by reacting with a methylene donor, for example, it reacts with the rubber adhesive A, the adhesive RA, and the rubber adhesive RA-65 to form a thermosetting resin. The reaction will take place very quickly at the vulcanization temperature, and if the reaction occurs before the vulcanization, the adhesion of the mating system will be lost. To disperse the rubber binder RE into the system uniformly, the rubber compound consisting of rubber, filler and rubber binder RE is usually prepared at a relatively high temperature, and then at the final stage of the rubber compounding process. , the binder or methylene donor is added together with the accelerator and sulfur. The recommended ratio is 2-5 parts of rubber binder RE and 2.5 parts of rubber binder A or other methylene donors. It should be noted that in the absence of a methylene donor, the adhesive RE would have no adhesive ability.
