In order to prolong the service life of rubber products, it is necessary to add some substances that can inhibit the aging process into the rubber, so as to extend the storage life and service life of rubber and its products. These substances are called antioxidants.

Antioxidant MB
The appearance is white or light * * crystal powder, bitter and non-toxic. The specific gravity is 1.42, the melting point is 285 ℃, and it is soluble in ethanol, acetone and ethyl acetate; Insoluble in dichloromethane; Insoluble in carbon tetrachloride, benzene and water. Slightly polluting and easy to disperse. When the dosage exceeds 2 parts, there is frost spraying. When used alone, the effect is weak, and it should be combined with antioxidant DNP to have synergistic effect. As a copper inhibitor, antioxidant MB can weaken the effect of vulcanizing agent in rubber on copper wire and significantly improve the phenomenon of copper wire blackening and rubber sticking during rubber vulcanization. The antioxidant MB can act as a vulcanization retarder. The general dosage of antioxidant MB is 1-2.5 phr.

Antioxidant DNP
This product is light gray powder. The pure product is light bright flake crystal with a specific gravity of 1.26 and a melting point of 235 ℃. Less pollution. When the dosage is more than 2 parts, it is easy to spray frost. It is a comprehensive antioxidant against heat, oxygen and atmospheric aging. It is an excellent copper inhibitor and can activate thiazole promoters. Antioxidant DNP has synergistic effect with MB and DOP. It is suitable for synthetic rubber such as natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, CIS butadiene rubber and fixing rubber. The general dosage is 0.2-1 part.

Antioxidant NBC
The trade name is antioxidant NBC, the appearance is dark gray powder, the melting point is not lower than 83 ℃, and it is non polluting and easy to disperse. It is an excellent anti ozone agent. It can be used in the rubber with heat resistance, atmospheric aging resistance and bending crack resistance. It can improve heat resistance and thermal stability in chloroprene rubber and chloroprene rubber. It is suitable for synthetic rubber such as chloroprene, Chloroether, chlorinated polyethylene, nitrile rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, etc. the dosage is 1-2 phr.
