Tackifiers are processing aids used to increase the self-tackiness of rubber. The self-adhesion of rubber will affect the rollability of the rubber compound, thereby affecting the dispersion of the compounding agent, the strength of the rubber compound, the continuity of the extrusion process and the foaming property. Appropriate viscosity is also beneficial to improve the stiffness of the rubber compound.


  The commonly used tackifiers in my country mainly include octyl phenolic resin (203 resin), tert-butyl phenolic resin (204 resin) and p-tert-butylphenol acetylene resin (Koresin resin). Modified tert-butyl phenolic resin (HY-2006 resin) is a modified product based on 204 resin. It has better adhesion properties and resistance to moisture and heat aging, and can replace Koresin resin. Saturated rubber tackifying resin HY-209 is a tackifier specially developed for EPDM.


  Plasticizers are processing aids that improve the processing properties of polymers and increase their flexibility or tensile properties. According to its mechanism of action, it can be divided into two categories: physical plasticizers and chemical plasticizers. It is customary to refer to physical plasticizers as softeners and chemical plasticizers as peptizers. Synthetic rubber mainly uses physical plasticizers. After the mass production of radial tires, plasticizer A has been widely used in China. It can be evenly dissolved in rubber, so that the filler can be mixed quickly, shorten the mixing time of the rubber compound, and the plasticizing effect is obvious.


  Petroleum-based process oil is another physical plasticizer commonly used in rubber processing. Highly aromatic oils are banned in the European Union because of the carcinogenic risk of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in them.


  The main function of the homogenizer is to solve the problem of blending polymers of different polarities and different viscosities. The leveling agent is mostly used in the inner liner and the vulcanization bladder. With the improvement of the radial tire structure, the amount of bromobutyl rubber (BIIR) will be larger and larger, which increases a lot of difficulties for the processing of rubber compounds, such as vulcanized rubber and The adhesive force of the unvulcanized rubber is small, and the phenomenon of air inclusion in the calendering process occurs. At present, the imported homogenizers TNB88, UB4000 and 40MSF are mainly used in the inner liner adhesive. Replacing all or part of the operating oil with the leveling agent 40MS (F) can improve the processing safety, flex resistance, adhesion and heat aging resistance of the rubber compound. The use of a leveling agent in the tread compound can play a lubricating role, reduce the Mooney viscosity of the compound, and improve the wear resistance of the finished tire; Reduce processing costs.


  The main function of the dispersant is to improve the dispersion of carbon black and other compounding agents in the compound. The dispersant generally plays an internal lubricating role in the rubber mixing process, which can reduce the internal friction between the rubber macromolecular chains, reduce the viscosity of the mixed rubber, promote the dispersion of carbon black and other compounding agents, and improve the uniformity and processing of the rubber compound. performance, the mixing time and energy consumption are reduced, and the dispersion of fillers is accelerated. With the continuous development of the tire industry, the amount of synthetic rubber is gradually increasing, and the amount of carbon black is increasing. These factors bring inconvenience to the processing of rubber compounds, so the application of dispersants is inevitable. Substances with dispersing effect include fatty acids, metal fatty acid salts, fatty acid esters, condensation products of fatty acids and high molecular fatty acid esters and their mixtures with metal soaps.
