Background technology:
Rubber vulcanization accelerator TMTD, whose chemical name is tetramethylthiuram disulfide, is a fine chemical widely used at home and abroad. It is mainly used as overspeed accelerator in natural rubber, synthetic rubber and various latex. At the same time, it can also be used as an agricultural fungicide, referred to as thiram.
At present, there are several methods to produce TMTD at home and abroad: sodium nitrite air oxidation method, chlorine air oxidation method, electrolytic oxidation method, etc. Chlorine air oxidation method has many problems such as high production cost, complex process flow, high technical requirements, waste gas, waste water and corrosion to equipment.
The method of using isopropanol as solvent to produce TMTD. In the prior art, a one-step oxidation method is used to prepare TMTD, but the method has the following problems: 1. The oxidation reaction is slow, and the reaction time is generally longer than 3 hours, which greatly affects the production efficiency; 2. The reaction is not complete, resulting in a large amount of dimethylamine, carbon disulfide and other substances remaining in the waste water after the reaction. Due to the toxicity of the above substances, the factory also needs to purchase special equipment for sewage treatment of the above substances, which increases the production cost of the factory.
The production method of MTD has the following problems: 1. The oxidation reaction is slow and the reaction is not complete; 2. Strong alkali NaOH is added in the reaction process to adjust the pH value of the reactants, which will lead to the sewage discharge not meeting the standard.
