Examine the comprehensive performance of an antioxidant, mainly from the pollution, volatility, stability, compatibility, antioxidant properties, safety and environmental protection to consider, the choice of attention to several points.
1, the use of rubber products in different environments, conditions, different requirements for anti-aging, to find the factors that cause aging, to facilitate the development of rubber anti-aging formulations and the selection of antioxidants.
2, due to the different characteristics of each antioxidant, there are different aging performance of different rubber formulations. Therefore, the most effective antioxidant for a rubber, may not be effective for another rubber. Selection of antioxidants must be based on the aging properties of various rubber materials, anti-aging requirements and the characteristics of various antioxidants to consider, reasonable choice.
3, consider the impact of the process conditions during processing. If an antioxidant is difficult to meet the requirements, two or more antioxidants should be used to produce a coordinated effect, to ensure that the anti-aging effect.
