A complete vulcanization system is mainly composed of vulcanizing agent, activator and accelerator. Vulcanization reaction is a complex chemical reaction process involving multiple components. It contains a series of chemical reactions between rubber molecules and vulcanizing agents and other cooperating agents. Various side reactions occur along with the formation of the mesh structure.

 The vulcanization process can be divided into three stages. The first stage is the induction stage. In this stage, the first sulfur yellow, accelerator activator interaction, so that zinc oxide in the rubber material solubility increases, activation accelerator, so that the reaction between the accelerator and sulfur yellow to generate a more active intermediate product; and then further triggered by the rubber molecular chain, resulting in crosslinkable rubber macromolecular radicals (or ions). The second stage is the cross-linking reaction, that is, the cross-linking radicals (or ions) and rubber molecular chain reaction to generate cross-linking bonds. The third stage is the network formation stage, the early part of this stage, the cross-linking reaction has been completed, the initial formation of the cross-linking bond shortening, rearrangement and cleavage reactions, and finally the network tends to stabilize, to obtain a relatively stable network of vulcanized rubber.

 In the vulcanization process, various properties of rubber change with the vulcanization time. The change of a certain property of the rubber with the vulcanization time for the curve, that is, the vulcanization course diagram. Natural rubber in the vulcanization process, tensile strength, resilience, elongation and swelling properties are in accordance with the emergence of a great value or a very small value of the kinetic curve and change.
