1. Why rubber should be plasticized
The purpose of rubber plasticizing is to make rubber cut short the macromolecular chain under the action of mechanical, thermal, chemical, etc., so that the rubber temporarily loses its elasticity and makes the plasticity increase, in order to satisfy the process requirements in the manufacturing process. Of course, some low-viscosity, constant viscosity rubber is sometimes not necessarily plasticized, domestic standard granular rubber, standard Malaysian rubber (SMR).

2. What factors affect the rubber molding in the smelter
The molding of raw rubber in the compactor belongs to high temperature molding, the temperature is at least 120℃ above, generally between 155℃-165℃. Raw rubber in the refiner cavity by high temperature and strong mechanical action, resulting in intense oxidation, can be obtained in a relatively short period of time the ideal plasticity. Therefore, the main factors affecting the refiner for raw rubber plasticizing are:
(1) the technical performance of the equipment, such as rotational speed, etc.
(2) Process conditions, such as time, temperature, air pressure and capacity.

3. Why the plasticizing characteristics of various rubbers are different?
The plasticizing of rubber is closely related to its chemical composition, molecular structure, molecular weight and molecular weight distribution. Natural rubber and synthetic rubber due to the structure and performance of different characteristics, generally speaking, natural rubber plasticizing is easier, synthetic rubber plasticizing is more difficult. As for synthetic rubber, isoprene rubber and neoprene rubber are close to natural rubber, butyl rubber and butyl rubber are second, nitrile rubber is the most difficult.

4. Why use plasticity of raw rubber as the main quality standard of plasticized rubber?
The plasticity of raw rubber is an important property that relates to the difficulty of the whole manufacturing process and directly affects the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber and the performance of products. If the plasticity of raw rubber is too high, the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber will be reduced. And raw rubber plasticity is too low, will cause the next process processing difficulties, so that the rubber is not easy to mix evenly, calendering, pressing out semi-finished products surface is not smooth, shrinkage, not easy to grasp the size of semi-finished products, in the calendering of the rubber is also difficult to rub into the fabric, resulting in the hanging of the rubber curtain cloth off the skin and other phenomena, greatly reducing the adhesion of the cloth between the layers.

5. What is the purpose of mixing
Mixing is in accordance with the formula of the rubber material with the proportion of the agent, the raw rubber and a variety of agents through the rubber equipment mixed together, and make a variety of agents evenly dispersed in the raw rubber.

6. Why does the mating agent agglomerate
The reasons for the lumping of compatibilizer include: insufficient plasticizing of raw rubber, too large a roll pitch, too high a roll temperature, too large a capacity of loading rubber, powder compatibilizer containing coarse particles or agglomerates, gel, etc. The improvement method is to take measures for the specific situation. The way to improve the specific situation is to take: full plasticizing, appropriate adjustment of the roll distance, reduce the roll temperature, pay attention to the feeding method; powder drying and screening; mixing cut to be appropriate.

7. Why too much carbon black in the rubber will produce "dilution effect"?
The so-called "dilution effect" is due to too much carbon black in the formulation of the rubber, rubber in the number of relative reduction, resulting in close contact between the carbon black particles, and can not be well dispersed in the rubber, which is the "dilution effect". This is the "dilution effect". In this way, because of the existence of many large particles of carbon black particles, rubber molecules can not penetrate into the carbon black particles, rubber and carbon black interaction is reduced, the strength decreases and does not achieve the expected reinforcing effect.
