In recent years, the production scale of the domestic rubber additives industry has grown rapidly. Although the number of production enterprises is large, most of them are small in scale. There are many kinds of rubber additives and a wide range of uses. They are indispensable in various rubber processing processes. It is not very large but the composition is complex and dispersed, so it is expensive to handle.
At present, wastewater treatment has become a key link restricting the good and stable operation of enterprises, especially high-concentration wastewater, with high organic matter concentration and high salt content.
The difficulties in the treatment of rubber additives wastewater are:
(1) High salt content. The production of main rubber additives, especially the production of sulfenamides, thiazoles, thiurams, carbamates and other additives with the largest amount of use has reaction steps such as acid-base adjustment or oxidation reaction. A large amount of salts such as sodium chloride or sodium sulfate will be produced in the waste water, and the salt concentration of some products may even reach more than 7%.
(2) The concentration is large. In order to increase the product output per unit time and reduce the amount of waste water, various manufacturers often achieve the above goals by increasing the reaction concentration. The concentration of COD in the mother liquor formed in this way is very high, and the COD of the mother liquor water produced by some products can reach tens of thousands mg/L, if it is not pretreated, it will have a severe impact on the microorganisms in the existing biochemical tank.
(3) There are many pollution factors and great changes. A variety of rubber additives are generally used in the formulation system of rubber products, including accelerators, vulcanizing agents, antioxidants, coupling agents and other processing aids.
Solution:
For this kind of wastewater with complex composition, high chroma, high COD content and high salt content, it is difficult to biochemically degrade and is not suitable for biochemical treatment. At present, Haizhiyan Environmental Protection adopts two-stage micro-electrolysis + two-stage Fenton as the main physicochemical process. It has been operated by many companies, and its treatment effect is stable and good. The total removal rate of COD by this process can reach 92.6%. The total removal rate was 98.6%.
The micro-electrolysis process is particularly effective for high-concentration organic industrial wastewater with high salt content, high color and refractory biodegradation, especially suitable for products such as vulcanization accelerators NS, CBS, M, DM, anti-scorch agent CTP, anti-aging agent RD and other products . It has promotion value in rubber additives, especially vulcanization accelerators and antioxidants.
