Vulcanizing agent PDM, chemical name is N, N '- isophenylene bismaleimide Imide. It is divided into two categories: inorganic and organic. The former category includes sulfur, sulfur monochloride, selenium, tellurium, etc. The latter category includes sulfur containing accelerators (such as accelerator TMTD), Organic peroxides (such as Benzoyl peroxide), quinone oxime compounds, polysulfide polymers, Ethyl formate, maleimide derivatives, etc. This product is a multifunctional rubber additive that can be used as a vulcanizing agent during rubber processing, as well as a co vulcanizing agent for peroxide systems, as well as an anti coking agent and tackifier. It is suitable for both general rubber and special rubber and rubber plastic blend systems.
The common additives of industrial sulfur, such as TMTD and TETD, can produce carcinogenic N-Nitrosodimethylamine during vulcanization. At present, platinum vulcanizing agent (with low vulcanization temperature and fast vulcanization speed) has been widely used as a vulcanizing agent for silicone rubber in certain special products. Vulcanizing agents are suitable for various types of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, and different types of vulcanizing agents can be used in combination according to needs.
Main purpose
1. Vulcanizing agent
In natural rubber, when combined with sulfur, it can prevent vulcanization from returning to its original state, improve heat resistance, reduce heat generation, resist aging, and increase the adhesive strength between rubber and cord, as well as the modulus of vulcanized rubber. Used in the shoulder rubber, buffer layer and other rubbers of load-bearing tires, it can solve the problem of shoulder space in diagonal load tires, and can also be used in large size thick products of natural rubber and various rubber miscellaneous products.
For example, when used in combination with sulfur, accelerator MPMCZ or TMTD as initiators, vulcanized diene rubber (natural rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, synthetic isoprene rubber) has the characteristics of prolonging scorch time, reducing heat generation, high elongation strength, and excellent resistance to vulcanization and reversion. As a vulcanization accelerator for chloroprene rubber, it can significantly improve the scorch resistance of mixed rubber and is suitable for processing chloroprene rubber in the southern high-temperature season.
2. Vulcanizing agent
As a co vulcanizing agent for various types of rubber peroxide vulcanizates, especially in the peroxide vulcanization process of nitrile rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, and rubber blends, it can achieve low compression deformation, fast vulcanization speed, and heat resistant air aging rubber materials.
As an auxiliary curing agent in special rubbers such as Neoprene, chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, Styrene-butadiene, Nitrile rubber, isoprene rubber, Butyl rubber, brominated Butyl rubber, acrylate rubber, silicone rubber and rubber plastic blends, it can significantly improve the correlation performance, prevent rubber from burning during processing, and improve the adhesive strength of rubber, cord and metal.
3. Anti coking agent
When used for chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, it can be combined with magnesium oxide, Pentaerythritol and bis pentamethylene tetrasulfide thiuram (TRA) as an anti coking agent;
4. Improve compression deformation
The curing system of maleimide Imide, which is composed of Calcium hydroxide and diphenylethylene diamine, with the dosage of 2-4 phr, can greatly reduce the compression set and improve the temperature resistance.
5. Improve adhesive strength
Improve the bonding strength between rubber and polyamide fabrics, as well as between rubber and metal, suitable for direct bonding systems.
